i love you.
you said you needed me and that was okay.
you are worth waiting for..
and waiting for..
and waiting for.
and then again you said you love her so much.
finally i realized i have waited away my life
for an answer you had already given me.
had you really loved me back,
i would not have had to wait.
On Waiting. Sunrise. Sunset.
It was one cold December friday night. We were sitting on the bench staring at the sea. The air gave me chill and you wrapped your arms around me. It was so comforting.
We wanted to have a glimpse of the beautiful sunrise, so we decided to wait. Soon the dark horizon started turning bright. We could see the clouds forming on the blue sky.
The beautiful sunrise did not show up. We decided to finally leave the place. As we walk slowly away with a heavy heart, I realized that people go there to witness the captivating sunset, not the sunrise.
I exclaimed, " Even if we wait here all our lives, what we are eagerly waiting for will never come."
