Product Review: Royale Beauty Kojic Papaya Soap

1/12/15

Just when I thought all Kojic Papaya Soaps are created equal, I was proven wrong. I've been using different brands of Kojic and Papaya soaps and always end up frustrated. Most of the time, the Kojic Papaya soap dries my skin and makes it flaky. I know it's the effect of exfoliation but I do not like how they make my skin appear dull.

When I was given the Royale Beauty Kojic Papaya Soap to sample, I was like "Oh no, not another orange soap!". I know that recently there's a buzz of how effective Royale products are -- from kojic soaps to glutathione soaps and capsules. He told me, just try it and tell me the result.

This is a raw photo of me taken minutes ago while composing this article. I just washed my face with Royale Beauty Kojic Papaya Soap. No foundation. Only lipstick. No camera effects. I'm using a Sony Xperia Z1 for this photo. You'd even notice that my skin is not flawless. Well, I'm not claiming it to be flawless. I have acne scars from puberty and I have large pores because of my oily skin. But what is remarkable is the pinkish glow effect on my skin. All kojic soaps have micropeeling effect to lift out old skin. What I like most with Royale Beauty Kojic Papaya Soap is that it moisturizes as it lightens.

I have also noticed that some of my pimple marks are starting to lighten. There are still stubborn marks that I know will take time to improve. I'm not in a hurry. Products that promise instant effect are just fooling you. They may even be too harsh and will do more harm than good to your skin.

I've been using the Royale Kojic Papaya Soap since November 2014 for my face and neck. This soap can also be use all over the body for bathing.

Verdict: Highly recommended!
