Safeguard Derma Sense Face and Body Wash

Something unusual happened to me this month after my period. I've got like 10 prominent pimples on my face and a few on my back. I usually get 1-2 pimples during my period so breaking out this bad is so alarming. A month ago, I received a full-size of Safeguard Derma Sense for Acne Prone Skin from Sample Room. I haven't used this yet because I've been using the Royale L-Gluta Power Soap that someone gave me which I kinda like because it feels great on my skin until recently.

This isn't a review yet of Safeguard Derma Sense because I'll just start using this today. I'll post a review after a week.

About Safeguard Derma Sense

Safeguard Derma Sense gently cleanses ACNE PRONE SKIN.
  • Helps provide noticeable acne reduction
  • Helps remove acne-causing germs and excess oil
  • Refreshing formula, with Eucalyptus
Direction for use:
  1. Wet face/body.
  2. Work up lather with hands or washcloth and spread evenly over face and body.
  3. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Gently pat dry with a clean towel.
What To Expect:

WEEK 1
Initially, the formula starts to cleanse your skin and provides you a clean and fresh feeling. The red marks are simply remnants of the acne that were present earlier, rather than active acne, and they should not be confused with true acne lesions. They should not be touched so as to allow the skin to recover more quickly.

WEEK 2
Remember to wash your face every morning and night to allow your skin to breathe easily. Derma Sense goes deep into pores to fight against acne-causing bacteria and remove excess oil. Avoid very hot water because it can scald the skin, which can be irritating. Over the 2nd week you will notice the number of pimples start to reduce.

WEEK 3
Don't pop your pimples. This is the number one rule! Pimples contain nasty bacteria. If you pop your pimples, they can get infected. Bacteria may also have a chance of getting inside other pores and giving them a place to stay. You will notice much less red areas during this period.

WEEK 4
Try not to touch your face. Your hands (no matter how many times you scrub them) have oil and dirt on them, and are vectors for bacteria. If you're constantly wiping that dirt, oil, and bacteria back onto your face, chances are it's not going to respond too well. In week 4, you will see some significant clearing of the skin and almost every day will start looking better than the previous day.

WEEK 5
Improvement continues. This is because of Derma Sense's antimicrobial ingredient, which provides inhibition against bacteria growth in your follicle. Derma Sense has been proven to have lasting germ protection vs. ordinary beauty soap.

WEEK 6
The pores would have opened up and your skin would be able to breathe freely. The dead skin cells would have long been gone and there would be reduced skin inflammation.

WEEK 7
Remember that one of the main goals of managing acne is to prevent permanent scarring. Continue to follow your regimen with the same rigor as you did when the breakout was at its peak. The acne over-stayers by now should finally be on their way out.

WEEK 8
It's time to reclaim your skin and follow your skin-hygiene routine. Continue to wash with Derma Sense at least twice a day to fight against acne-causing germs that may come back.
