Time to fly Manila!

Hoka One One, a shoe brand that means "flying over the earth"has finally landed in the Philippines. The French company founded by Nicolas Mermoud and Jean-Luc Diard is popular for manufacturing light weight shoes but with thick soles for maximum cushioning.

Quorum International and Runnr has decided it's the perfect time for Hoka One One to bring to the country. The shoes were unveiled at the brand launch last March 16, 2017 at Bonifacio High Street in Taguig outside RUNNR store.

“We are excited to be the official distributor of HOKA ONE ONE in the Philippines. The arrival of this amazing shoe brand in the country has long been anticipated by our local roster of triathletes, ultra-distance runners and marathoners,” said Toby Claudio, President of Quorum International Inc. and Founder of RUNNR. “As the leader in the local sports retail industry, we continue to support the growing Filipino running community by bringing in the best global brands.”

The fab Tessa Prieto-Valdez shopped for running shoes which I'm sure she'll be test-running with her Girls Run For Breakfast group.

People lined up outside the RUNNR BGC store to be the first to try and buy a pair of Hoka One One. The first one hundred customers were given free Hoka One One shirt.

The first three customers posed for a photo op with RUNNR founder Toby Claudio.

The TriSixFiv team led the run around BGC wearing their favorite Hoka One One running shoes.

Whether you are a distance runner or just a beginner, there is a perfect Hoka One One pair for you. Visit RUNNR and check out the shoes.
