Panagbenga Hunk Renz Lou Lagria Bagged Kix R U Tough Enough Grand Prize

10/23/17

The Fit-fluencer Renz Lou Lagris has proven that he is the toughest among the 10 finalists at the Kix R U Tough Enough?  Man vs Woman Final Showdown held last October 20, 2017 at the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia.  The pride of Mountain Province faced Joanna Marie Tantoco, the toughest of #TeamAubrey, on a head-to-head challenge before finally claiming the Toughest Pinoy 2017 title and a P250,000 prize money.

R U Tough Enough? 2017 is the first of its kind with an exciting battle of man versus woman.  It is also the first year that it has a male and female ambassador, Arnold Aninion and Aubrey Miles.

It was not an easy feat for the 10 finalists. They had to go through six tough stations. The first station is the Perfect Storm, a challenge that has four sub-stations, built to rain on a fury of toughness.

The next station is the Z-Wall, a uniquely designed lateral climbing wall for uniquely strong individuals.

The next is the Bicycle Course, where biking was given a challenging twist.

The fourth challenge was the Slip Wall, an inclined-wall made to test the inclined finalists.

To prove that the finalists are not just physically tough but also mentally sharp, they had to go through Total Recall. A pattern was flashed for 5 seconds and they had to memorize the sequence.

Last on the challenges lineup is the Fisherman's Friend Panels Shuffle where finalists coursed through the hanging panels.

Head to head challenges: Renz vs Joanna

Joanna Marie Tantoco, the 31-year old personal trainer from #TeamAubrey faced the 20-year old student and fitness trainer Renz Lou Lagria from #TeamArnold. One has to beat the other in the face-to-face challenge to be awarded the Toughest Pinoy 2017.

And the final hurdle on the face-to-face challenge...
