Max Pavilion at The Venice Luxury Residences McKinley

1/13/16

I was in search of a place to stay in Taguig  last week because I was attending Nissan Philippines Thanksgiving Party at Revel at the Palace. Since the party was on a Friday, I decided to have my first staycation for 2016.

It was through Agoda that I got to know about Max Pavilion Boutique Serviced Suites. I booked the Max Premier Suite, the most affordable among the suites available for only PhP4,350/night.

About Max Pavilion

We have designed these phonograph-themed boutique serviced suites to display this unique antique music instrument and its technology. To create a familiar environment for travellers, Max Pavilion Boutique Serviced Suites take every effort to make our apartments feel like a "home away from home". - http://www.maxpavilionph.com/our-story

Lobby

Max Pavilion Serviced Suites is located at the Alessandro Tower of The Venice Luxury Residences. Upon entering, I was escorted by the doorman to the reception desk.  At first I thought the checking in will be done at the desk just like in a hotel. I was told to take a seat and someone from Max Pavilion will attend to me.

I waited for ten minutes at this comfy sofa. I so love the simple elegance of the lobby. As I was getting comfortable, Ms. Cynthea of Max Pavilion arrived.

You can sit here while waiting for the lift.

The Room

Max Premier Room

My room is located on the 3rd floor near the elevator. I immediately noticed the phonograph. This is an antique piece and it's my first time to see and touch a phonograph. And the room smells so clean.

Max Pavilion uses Italian Status bed frame and Sealy Posturepedic mattress. I have scoliosis and I was so glad that their mattress is comfortable for my back. I had the best sleep that night.

Max Premier is a 40 square meters studio room with a king-size bed. I love that they provide lots of pillows.

The side table is very organized. I fell in love with the blue lamp.

Free unlimited Internet WIFI access. Each room has its own PLDT Home DSL connection.

4K Ultra HD Smart TV and 4K Blu-ray player

I spent Saturday morning watching YouTube videos of Minguk, Manse and Daehan.

The room has a private balcony and a view of the garden.

TWG Tea and coffee making facility.

I had our breakfast delivered by Army Navy because I was craving for their Bacon Breakfast. You can also have your breakfast prepared by Max Pavilion's Chef for PhP700/person.

If you want to cook your own meal, the Max Premier Suite has a fully-equipped kitchen with modern appliances including cooker hob & hood, microwave oven, refrigerator.

L'Occitane bathroom amenities

If you've got some dirty laundry to wash, there's a fully automatic LG washer / dryer.

The Experience

I usually prefer a room located on the higher floor because I love a room with a view. Although Max Premier is on the third floor, I appreciate the garden view. The fountain was turned on during night time and the sound of the water was very relaxing. There was an ongoing construction nearby but it was so quiet during my stay. I will definitely consider staying here again.

Max Pavilion is located within a walking distance to the Venice Piazza. You'll have numerous dining options within the area. There are also restaurants offering 24-hour delivery.

Thank you Ms. Cynthea for assisting me from check-in to check-out.  You are highly commendable. You were able to answer all my queries. There was a misunderstanding with the car park. We weren't able to use the parking slot allotted because the guard refused entry and we ended up parking outside. I'm glad Ms. Cynthea cleared the confusion and had our car transferred the next morning while me and hubby explore the Venice Piazza.
