A Treasure Trove of Books

The Big Bad Wolf Glorietta Book Sale boasts over two million books across various genres. Whether you're into contemporary bestsellers, timeless classics, children's literature, educational titles, or Filipino reads, there's something for everyone at unbeatable prices. This is part of Big Bad Wolf's mission to cultivate a lifelong love of reading and reach new readers across the country.

BookLat Initiative: Spreading the Love of Reading

In collaboration with Ayala Malls' "BookLat: Open. Imagine. Discover." initiative, this event emphasizes reading for leisure and entertainment. "BookLat," derived from the Filipino word “buklat,” aims to make books accessible to all ages at affordable prices. Ayala Malls encourages patrons to donate a book for every purchase, supporting Ayala Land's project to promote early childhood literacy. The goal is to collect 20,000 books for public school students from kindergarten to grade 3. To kickstart this noble cause, Big Bad Wolf and Glorietta have each donated 1,000 books.

Enthusiastic Leadership and Community Spirit

Big Bad Wolf co-founder Andrew Yap expressed his excitement for their ongoing mission to inspire new readers, emphasizing that everyone, regardless of background, should have access to books. Managing Partner Carol Chuaying echoed this sentiment, highlighting the importance of building a community that shares a love for reading.

The opening event was a star-studded affair with notable attendees including the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Philippines, His Excellency Dato’ Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino, and key figures from Ayala Malls, Metrobank, and 2GO.

Fun for the Little Wolfies

The event isn't just for adults. The "Little Wolfies Crew" activities ensure that even the youngest guests have a blast. Children can engage in fun roles like welcome howlers, police hunters, or sellers, fostering a love for reading from an early age.

Community Engagement with “Book Boss”

Big Bad Wolf also introduces the “Book Boss” initiative, offering organizations a free table for a day during the book sale. Participating groups can host events, recommend books, or curate book bundles. This initiative encourages community involvement and enriches the event experience.
