Nearly 7,000 runners filled the Filinvest Event Grounds in Muntinlupa City as the EastWest Dream Run 2026 officially kicked off its four-city series. Organized by RUNRIO, the event brought together competitive athletes, first-time runners, families, and even pet owners for a day centered on fitness, community, and shared experiences.
Following the success of its inaugural edition last year, the run has grown into one of the country's notable community running events. This year's Manila leg attracted participants across multiple race categories, with two of its most popular distances selling out before race day.

In the women's division, Marickz Camacho topped the podium, followed by Jocelyn Elijeran and Nikka Panlaqui.

Meanwhile, raffle draws kept the excitement going with more than ₱500,000 worth of prizes.
These activities transformed the event into a full-day lifestyle festival rather than simply a sporting competition.
