Cuore Bistro & Social Lounge: A Haven for Food And Lovers

I seldom go out on a Saturday morning because sleeping is such a luxury for me during weekends. But how do you say no to a restaurant where food and love can be found and the menu is very interesting? I am not familiar with Makati and found myself walking from Makati Avenue to Jupiter Street looking for Cuore Bistro & Social Lounge like a Pokemon Go player searching for Pokemon species. 

Cuore Bistro & Social Lounge opened in February 2016. This is the first f&b business venture of friends Kate So and Mau Aguasin. It is interesting to know that although the name Cuore is Italian, the restaurant has an all Filipino staff. 

I love the ambiance. I was there lunch time but the moment I stepped in, it made me forget the time of day or where I am. My fascination with Mario Puzo's novels gave me the feeling that I am Kaye Adams waiting for my date Michael Corleone to arrive and then we will feast on a Dirty Calzone.

Oh okay, before I totally get carried away, here's my feast last Saturday..

Skinny Dipping. Toasted bread with spinach and creamy cheese dip. PhP175

Sweet Stolen Kisses. Wild arugula and parma ham with sweet treats salad. PhP340 (solo ) / 495 (share)

Lemon Butter Chix & Chips. Half dozen wings glazed with lemon and butter sauce. PhP230

Chicken Garlic Pesto Dirty Calzone. Grilled chicken with flavors of garlic and pesto. PhP365

Deep Lover. Espresso-Muscovado panna cotta. PhP210

Dolce Maria. Cuore's bestselling churros, salted caramel and ice cream. PhP280

Caramel Milkshake

Aside from the Vanilla, Caramel, Chocolate and Strawberry milkshakes (PhP240),  a must-try is Cuore's adult milkshake with your choice of alcohol: brandy, vodka or tequila (PhP290)

I had the fresh lemonade to wash down all the gastronomic goodness I indulged in for lunch.

The dish that captured my taste buds is the Lemon Butter Chix and Chips while the Dolce Amore is the dessert I am not willing to share with anyone despite the generous serving.
