My Thai Kitchen... Finally!

Khao Neaw Mamuang

I've always wanted to eat at My Thai Kitchen. The problem is that the branches I frequent, SM Megamall and Gateway Araneta are side by side with Pho Hoa and I just can't resist this Vietnamese restaurant. I was at Eastwood Libis this afternoon and I was really planning to eat at Pho Hoa but I'm too lazy to walk from the Eastwood Mall to the restaurant. Finally, I found myself seated at My Thai Kitchen and ordering.

I took pleasure in devouring the dessert first before the main course. Aside from the fact that I was waiting for my husband to arrive from his office in Ortigas, I really want to have sticky rice since the last time I tasted this dessert from an event I attended at Discovery Primea more than six months ago.

My Thai Kitchen's Khao Neaw Mamuang (Sticky Rice with Mangoes) was served with a scoop of ice cream. The more I was convinced that I had to eat this right away. And yeah... partly I don't want to share this with anyone.

Satay Gai

The last time I had Satay Gai (Chicken Sate with Peanut Sauce) was at Sentosa in Singapore. Having this for late lunch brought back happy memories of the trip with my sisters.

Khau Kluk Gapi

I've been a fan of Khau Kluk Gapi (Bagoong Rice with Sweet Pork and Green Mango) since I've first tasted it at the defunct SukhoThai in SM Megamall A more than a decade ago. My Thai Kitchen's Bagoong Rice is as delicious.

There's so much more from the menu that I want to try so I will definitely come back! BTW, the staff in this branch is very attentive and accommodating. They even granted my wish to have the Bagoong Rice re-heated when my husband arrived.
