ICATS 7th Anniversary: From A Dream To Fulfilling Other People's Dream

The International Cabin Attendant Training School (ICATS) celebrates it 7th founding anniversary and I was invited to witness how the company has grown from 3 enrollees to producing over 200 successful ICATS graduates who are now working in local and international airlines.

It all started with a dream of becoming a flight attendant that never materialized for Ms. Princess Joy Garcia, CEO and Sales Marketing Head of ICATS. God's plan is always better than ours. With Ms Princess, God made her an instrument to fulfill other people's dream of becoming flight attendants.

"I opened ICATS envisioning it to be an excellent, if not the best training school available for your aspirants who, like me will go any lengths to fulfill their life goal. This obviously became my heart's mission," said Princess. "God was faithful to ICATS that in 2017, the school continued to expand its wings by moving to a more spacious venue to further accommodate the continuous rise of enrollees," she added.

Giving back to the community

ICATS has been so blessed and giving back to the community is the best way to meaningfully celebrate its founding anniversary. The ICATS team led by Princess conducted a series of outreach activities in seven charitable institutions. They visited Precious Heritage Children's Home, Tahanang Balik Alay, Home for the Golden Gays, Creative Milestone Learning Center (School for Special Kids), Children's Home of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Children's Home of Eucharistic Love and Kindness, and Margaretha Home for the Blind.

A Dedication and Worship Service was also held last April 5 at the ICATS campus in Tektite Building. On April 6, a blood-letting donation in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross was also conducted.

What's next for ICATS

"The next chapter of ICATS' history will be the most challenging and most exciting chapter yet. The school will continue to serve others and become a vessel of hope, especially to the young ones who are brimming with dreams to see the world. We will continue the mission; not only in developing trainees into becoming full-fledged flight attendants,  but also in teaching them the true meaning of L.I.F.E. and the is Leadership, Integrity, Faith, and Excellence. And without the F, everything is just a LIE," concluded Princess.
