WCOPA Finalist Sophia Bianca Releases First Single "In Love's Eyes"

6/17/19

Every girl can dream. But only a few are brave enough to follow her heart's desire. Sophia Bianca just turned 17 when she competed at the World Championship of the Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Long Beach, California last July 2018. She competed in the Vocal Competition of the Senior Division and received two silver medals and a gold for being a grand finalist.

According to Sophia Bianca, she loves to sing since she was a kid. The family would spend hours singing karaoke.  Her parents have always been supportive of her in pursuing her dream of becoming an international singer and when she had the chance to audition for WCOPA, they made sure that Sophia Bianca got all the support she needed.

Sophia Bianca turned 18 last June 15 and instead of having a grand debut party, she received the best gift from her parents. Sophia Bianca launched her first single "In Love's Eyes" in an intimate gathering at Pookaberry Cafe with family, friends, and selected media friends. "In Love's Eyes" is composed by Grammy awardee, Gerard McMann.

She will fly back to the US to perform in the opening ceremonies of WCOPA 2019. She will then have a show with a band on July 24 in New York. The official video of her single "In Love's Eyes" will also be shot in New York.

"In Love's Eyes" will be available on iTunes and Spotify on June 18.
