When SM City Taytay posted on their Facebook that Macao Imperial Tea is coming to the east of the Metro, I really got excited. Finally, the popular milk tea that opened in 2017 and has captured the hearts of milk tea lovers is invading Rizal.
I arrived an hour early for the ribbon cutting of the Macao Imperial Tea at SM City Taytay and more than a thousand customers were already waiting for the mall to open. I interviewed the first five and they were there as early as 5am! Raymart Bambao, Myra Perez, and Romajoy Bambao came all the way from Binangonan while Mary Joy Inocia and Ryan Inocia came from Pasig City.
Raymart Bambao is officially the first customer of Macao Imperial Tea SM City Taytay branch. It's definitely worth the travel because the first 100 customers received a FREE Happy Bear tumbler. Another opening day treat was the BOGO on Cream Cheese and Chestnut Cream Series.
Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula also graced the event and didn't pass the chance to treat his staff with the BOGO opening day offer.
Macao Imperial Tea SM City Taytay is the first branch in the east area. The brand is planning to open a total of 10 branches in Rizal. Branches to watch out for in the coming weeks are SM Cherry, SM San Mateo, and SM Masinag.
Macao Imperial Tea SM City Taytay is located on the ground floor of Building A. For more information, visit https://www.facebook.com/smtaytay/
