SM City Masinag recently held its first Kapihan sa SM with the goal of bringing together the brands, local government, SM Supermalls, and the media to promote the activities, products, and events in the bustling province of Rizal. The Kapihan was attended by Coffee Grounds Manager Andrea Zapanta, Rizal Provincial Tourism Officer Laserna, SM City Masinag Marketing Officer Czar Agbulos, and Rose Penaranda for SM Cinema.
Coffee Grounds
Coffee Grounds, a local coffee shop in Taytay established in 2010, has opened a branch in SM Masinag and gives the loyal shoppers an alternative for their coffee fix and dessert cravings.
Located on the cinema level of SM City Masinag, their coffee and blended drinks could be your next favorite. The taste and quality is at par with the popular international franchised brand and offered at a competitive price.
Indulge with their desserts because they are definitely worth your cheat day! The red velvet crinkles is the best I've tasted and the Mango Ole is an instant favorite of mine.
The SM Cinema
SM Cinema offers the best movie experience for moviegoers. Aside from the state-of-the-art premiere theaters at the Director's Club and the ease of buying tickets through their online booking, SM Cinema have promos and events that makes watching movie more enjoyable.
Coming this October is the return of Sine Sindak Horror Film Festival. You can watch any of the horror films for only P120 or have a movie marathon with family and friends with a one-day pass watch-all-you-can for P199.
The #SineSindak2 will run from October 23-29 in all SM Cinema branches nationwide.

Rizal Tourism Office has been actively promoting Rizal as one of the "must-visit" tourist destination in the Philippines. The tourism campaign dubbed as Pasyal sa Rizal is an invitation to get to know the culture, explore the hidden wonder of nature, and have a taste of culinary dishes of the 13 municipalities and 1 city of the province.
The Christmas Village at the Ynares Center opened last September 26 and there are decorated booths that are definitely instagram-worthy representing the municipalities where their products are showcased and available for sale.
