Withdraw Cash at 7-Eleven ATMs with BDO and BancNet

Friday, March 5

Running out of cash while on the go? You don’t need to search far for a bank machine anymore—your friendly neighborhood 7-Eleven store has you covered. Starting this March, customers in Metro Manila and Cavite can withdraw money and check their balances at new ATMs located inside select 7-Eleven branches.

This new convenience is made possible by Philippine Seven Corporation (PSC), the exclusive licensor of 7-Eleven in the Philippines, in partnership with Pito AxM Platform, Inc. (PAPI)—a local subsidiary of Japan’s Seven Bank, Ltd.

Cash-Recycling ATMs for Everyday Convenience

Unlike traditional ATMs, the new machines inside 7-Eleven are cash-recycling ATMs. This means they are capable of both withdrawals and deposits (with deposit functions coming soon). The system also adapts the screen interface to match the customer’s bank, making the process more familiar and user-friendly.

For now, withdrawals and balance inquiries are fully functional. By expanding this service nationwide, PSC aims to make banking as easy as grabbing your favorite snack or drink at the convenience store.

Free Withdrawals for BDO Account Holders

As of today, BDO Unibank account holders can withdraw cash and check their balances at 7-Eleven ATMs free of charge.

Other bank customers using BancNet can also transact at these ATMs, though they will be subject to standard fees charged by their issuing banks. In the coming months, more partner banks are expected to join the system, offering even more flexibility and cost-saving benefits to users.

Rolling Out Across Hundreds of Stores

By the first week of March, more than 30 stores in NCR will already be equipped with ATMs. The goal is to install the machines in at least 320 stores by mid-2021, with plans to expand coverage to the majority of 7-Eleven locations across the country.

With 2,978 stores nationwide as of December 2020, 7-Eleven remains the largest convenience store chain in the Philippines—making it the perfect partner for everyday banking access.

Global Expertise, Local Impact

Seven Bank, known for managing over 25,000 ATMs in Japan, established PAPI in 2019 to bring its expertise to the Philippines. By teaming up with PSC, the company is bringing world-class, tech-driven ATM services to Filipino consumers—right where they shop daily.

With this rollout, banking just got more convenient for Filipinos. No more hunting for your bank’s ATM or waiting in long lines—now you can withdraw cash at your nearest 7-Eleven. As more partner banks join, this innovation promises to make cash management faster, easier, and closer to home.

If you’re a BDO account holder, try it out on your next visit—you’ll enjoy fee-free withdrawals right at the counter of convenience.
