The pandemic has kept us indoors for almost a year. Now that summer is here once again, somehow we all dream of going elsewhere and enjoy a different environment even for a short time. Many restaurants were not offering dine-in service last year and most of us can't wait to enjoy eating our favorite meals again. There are those who are still uncomfortable dining in the restaurants. To help these establishments attract diners, The Skypark at SM Aura Premier in BGC offers al fresco dining.
Is it safe to eat outside? Well, transmission of the virus is less likely to occur in outdoor settings but it doesn't mean that you will be less careful. SM Supermalls follow strictly the safety guidelines of the IATF. The sanitation team are very visible and attentive. There are also guards who are making sure that diners are complying.
Here are some of the food choices when you #DineAtTheSkypark
Filipinos love to eat. And we enjoy sharing a good meal with our loved ones. Mesa offers hearty meals such as Dingdong's Favorite. You can choose between Favorite 1 at P777 good for 2-3 persons or Favorite 2 at P1,295 good for 4-5 persons. This offering includes Sisig rice, Bam-i, Crispy pork belly, Crispy baby squid, Tinapa roll, Suahe stir-fried salted and crispy.
Hummus Elijah brings authentic mediterranean cuisine in the Metro. They have established the reputation of serving the best hummus and falafel in the Philippines. Aside from the falafel, I really enjoyed the potato burekas and the shakshuka.
Yabu: House of Katsu has a new menu offering: the Katsu Bao. This tastefully crafted steamed bun comes in three appetizing flavors: Chicken Katsu Bao, Menchi Katsu Bao, and Ebi Katsu Bao.
The Chicken Katsu Bao comes with picked cucumber, karashi tonkatsu sauce, Japanese mayo, and onion jam, the Menchi Katsu Bao has cheesy meat patty paired with pickled cucumber, karashi tonkatsu sauce, Japanese mayo, and onion jam, and the Ebi Katsu Bao has takanasuke, spicy aioli, and onion jam.
Barcino is all about celebrating life with good food. To make each day special, they have come up with daily offerings: Paella Mondays, Tapas Tuesdays, Wine Wednesdays, Throwback Thursdays, Fiesta Fridays, and Sangria Saturdays and Sundays.
I love Thai food. Good thing SM Aura Premier has almost every cuisine for the satisfaction of my cravings. Tamarind: Taste of Thai's Yam Mamuang Gung or Thai-style spicy shrimp and mango salad is already a full meal and yet feels so light you can indulge without the guilt. Other must-try on the menu are Pad See Iew seafood flat noodles with soy sauce, and Kaeng Masaman Nuea Kea for curry lovers.
Who can say no to pizza and pasta? I can't! Prego Trattoria at SM Aura Premier offers casual dining featuring cicchetti and special Italian dishes you can enjoy with friends. A personal favorite is their Tajerin al Tartufo. Their truffle sauce is sooo good! The four cheese pizza is equally satisfying.

Whether you want a light snack, a dessert, or just something to quench your thirst, you'll never run out of options at The Skypark. TuanTuan Kitchen's crispy pork snow buns complement The Dessert Kitchen's Okinawa milk tea while Melonpan Ice's freshly-baked melonpan with black sesame gelato is a perfect afternoon snack to beat the summer heat. Torn between milk tea and ice cream? Tiger Sugar can give you the best of both worlds.
The Skypark is located on the 5L of SM Aura Premier.
