Step into a fascinating Christmas Dreamland at SM City East Ortigas

Watch me now, here I go, all I need is a little snow!
Starts me off, sets the theme, helps me dream my Christmas dream..

When I was just a child, I often wonder what it is like to live with Santa and his hardworking elves. Does it feel like Christmas everyday? Do the elves have time to play?

Christmas is just around the corner and we can already feel the chilly air that comes with this merry season. Shoppers are also excited to start the celebration with the much-anticipated Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in SM Supermalls across the country. SM City East Ortigas made my Christmas dream a reality with its fascinating Christmas Dreamland theme.

NU Chorale

The National University Chorale set the mood with an amazing performance of well-loved Christmas songs.

SM City East Ortigas Mall manager Maureen Fernandez gave the opening remarks and took the opportunity to thank the hardworking employees who made the event possible. She also acknowledged the support of the local government, the media, and of course the loyal shoppers.

Dodot Jaworski

Pasig Vice Mayor Robert Vincent Jude "Dodot" Bautista Jaworski Jr. and the local government staff also graced the event.

The Christmas Tree Lighting countdown was more fun by steering away from the usual pressing of the button.  I find the cheering with the gigantic mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows the coolest thing ever!

I'm certain that this bonfire for roasting marshmallows is the ultimate spot for the annual tradition Christmas photo with family and friends. Just make sure you use the hashtag #ChristmasDreamlandAtSM when you share your photos on social media for everyone to see.

Visit SM City East Ortigas now and start your Christmas shopping while listening to Jose Mari Chan's holiday jingle "Celebrate Christmas".  And never forget to spread the joy to other kids with the Bears of Joy!
