SM Supermalls in the East Metro joined forces to support Brigada Eskwela 2024, lending a helping hand to local schools. Employees from SM City Marikina, SM City Masinag, SM City San Mateo, and SM Center Antipolo Downtown rolled up their sleeves to clean classrooms, beautify school grounds, and provide essential supplies.
SM City Marikina focused on cleaning a classroom at Kalumpang High School to help students and teachers recover from the recent typhoon. Meanwhile, SM City San Mateo gave Banaba Elementary School a fresh look with a classroom repaint. In Antipolo, SM City Masinag and SM Center Antipolo Downtown collaborated to clean the school grounds at Mayamot National High School and donated cleaning supplies.
These efforts are part of SM Supermalls’ commitment to education under its corporate social responsibility arm, SM Cares. By participating in Brigada Eskwela, SM aims to create a conducive learning environment for students and contribute to the overall improvement of the community.
