Globe Launches #GoGIVEYourHeart Challenge on TikTok to Support Local Communities

Globe is proving that digital habits can be transformed into acts of kindness with the launch of its #GoGIVEYourHeart Challenge, the company’s first-ever TikTok for Good campaign in the Philippines. By simply joining the challenge, netizens can turn social media engagement into real-world impact, supporting communities in need.

Turning Data into Donations

At the heart of the campaign is GoGIVE, Globe Prepaid’s advocacy feature on the GlobeOne app. Customers who opt in to the program earn “hearts” by using their data, which can then be donated to different partner communities.

To encourage participation, Globe created a custom TikTok filter where users can flash their best hand heart gesture as a symbol of giving. Each post using the special effect and hashtag #GoGIVEYourHeart serves as both a creative expression and a call to action, nudging others to earn and donate hearts through GoGIVE.

“This campaign offers a fun and purposeful way for young Filipinos to take part in the movement and give back by being online,” said Givielle Florida, Globe Prepaid Business Head.

TikTok for Good in Action

According to Vanessa Brown, TikTok’s APAC Director of Business Development, the collaboration is part of TikTok’s mission to inspire positive change:

“Our partnership with Globe empowers our Filipino TikTok community to rally support and raise awareness for causes close to their hearts, achieving real-world impact both on and beyond TikTok.”

Celebrities and Beneficiaries

The campaign is being championed by Team Globe of Good ambassadors, including Star Magic talents Alora Sasam, Ericka Padilla, Gillian Vicencio, Rise Artists Studio’s Kerwin King, theater actor Reb Atadero, and viral doctor Doc Adrian Insigne.

Every heart earned contributes to initiatives that uplift communities through Globe’s partner NGOs:

Philippine Eagle Foundation – wildlife conservation and protection of the critically endangered Philippine eagle

Project PEARLS – livelihood opportunities for women in Tondo through digital tools

Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) – shelter and medical care for stray animals

Philippine General Hospital Foundation – improved healthcare services with digital connectivity

World Vision – access to digital education for underserved Filipino students

Once each NGO reaches its target number of hearts, Globe will deliver the pledged support to fund their respective programs.
