Calling all artists, dreamers, and storytellers—HUAWEI GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity 2025 is here to challenge creators across the globe to unleash their imagination. From now until December 31, 2025, artists can submit their digital artworks for a chance to win international recognition, cash prizes, and a spotlight on the world stage—all powered by HUAWEI MatePad tablets and the exclusive GoPaint app.
This year introduces an exciting twist: the Animation category, where participants can transform static illustrations into dynamic frame-by-frame stories. Whether you’re sketching whimsical characters, crafting sci-fi landscapes, or exploring narrative-driven visuals, the competition offers fresh opportunities to push the boundaries of digital art.
Global Recognition Awaits
With over 20 Honorable Mentions, each receiving USD 1,000 and official certificates, the GoPaint competition ensures that creativity is celebrated in many forms. Beyond cash prizes, winners may also have their works featured in HUAWEI press events, global campaigns, art exhibits, or as HUAWEI Themes wallpapers—bringing art directly into the hands of millions of users worldwide.
Selected artists will even be invited to share their creative journeys through exclusive interviews, giving the world a glimpse into the passion and process behind their masterpieces.
Five Creative Categories to Explore
Participants can showcase their talent across five categories:
Digital Watercolour & Ink – Inspired by traditional artistry, reimagined digitally.
Animation – Frame-by-frame stories brought to life.
Sci-Fi Art – Bold futuristic worlds and imaginative concepts.
Cutting-Edge Paintings – Modern, experimental, and boundary-breaking works.
Narrative Art – Storytelling through expressive visuals.
Artists aged 18 and above may submit up to 30 artworks, all created using HUAWEI tablets. Submissions must include a short description (30–100 words) and meet the file requirements set by the competition.
Judged by Global Visionaries
Entries will be reviewed by a distinguished panel of international judges:
- Dezio – French urban artist and co-founder of Urban Art United.
- Laura Gallon – Arte Laguna Prize co-founder and MoCA Italia board member.
- Jia Zhangke – Acclaimed film director and President of the China Film Director’s Guild.
- Victo Ngai – World-renowned illustrator and the first ethnic Chinese recipient of the Hamilton King Award.
Their diverse expertise ensures a fair and inspiring evaluation that values both technique and storytelling power.
