Celebrate the holidays with style, comfort, and value right in your kitchen

Nothing says Paskong Pinoy quite like good food and good company. Whether it’s family gathered in a cozy condo or relatives sharing laughter in a provincial home, the heart of every Filipino celebration is always the same delicious dishes made and shared with love.

This year, IKEA Philippines is helping Filipinos elevate their noche buena tables and festive gatherings through its Flavors of Home Festival, a holiday event dedicated to creating warm, stylish, and functional spaces for cooking and dining.

A Feast of Ideas for Every Filipino Home

Held at the IKEA Store in Pasay City, the Flavors of Home Festival brought together food enthusiasts, homemakers, and design lovers for a joyful day of culinary inspiration.

The event featured live cooking demos led by social media foodies Icoy Rapadas, Grace Tanfelix, and Mitch Ngo (@thechinitafoodie), who showcased easy, festive recipes perfect for the holidays. Meanwhile, interior designer Elle Uy offered tips on transforming kitchen and dining spaces using IKEA’s holiday collection proof that great design can be both affordable and achievable for every Filipino home.

Adding to the festive cheer, Angeline Quinto serenaded guests with a soulful rendition of Sharon Cuneta’s “Bituing Walang Ningning.” The song also carried IKEA’s clever sustainability message: don’t waste food “balutin” or “i-Sharon” what’s left to enjoy later!

Holiday-Ready Kitchens on a Budget

Filipinos love to cook and feed a crowd, and IKEA’s kitchen essentials make it easier (and more affordable) than ever.

Here are some must-haves for your Christmas kitchen lineup:

ANNONS cookware set (₱699) – A 5-piece stainless steel set with glass lids perfect for everyday meals and Christmas cooking marathons.

KLIPPFISK sauté pan (₱1,999) – Ideal for flavorful stews and sauces.

IKEA 365+ stainless steel frying pan (₱999) and TAGGHAJ non-stick pan (₱299) – Reliable tools for quick meals.

HEMLAGAD wok with lid (₱999) and HEMLAGAD grill pan – For last-minute stir-fry or sizzling barbecues.

IKEA 365+ pressure cooker (₱3,999) – Cuts cooking time for nilaga or adobo nights with the family.

As Hervy Nicholas, IKEA Philippines Sales Leader, shared, “The Filipino way of celebrating is centered on family and food at home. IKEA wants to make it more special with our affordable kitchen and dining range pieces that are functional, beautiful, and sustainable.”

Set the Table for Togetherness

From prepping to plating, IKEA’s dining collections help create the perfect setup for every meal. Add a festive touch with the POINSETTIA potted plant (₱449) or scatter VINTERFINT glass baubles (₱499 for 8 pcs) to bring holiday sparkle to your table.

Serve your feasts on the elegant VINTERFINT side plates (₱129) or go for the earthy SANDSKÄDDA and HAVSGÄDDA sets. For drinks, the STORSINT wine glasses (₱799 for 6 pcs) and IKEA 365+ carafe (₱249) make every toast more special.

Complete your spread with the STOLTHET cutting board (₱599) as a cheese platter and use the RÅSKOG utility cart to hold extra dishes—a lifesaver during noche buena!

And when it’s time to save leftovers, the IKEA 365+ glass containers with bamboo lids (₱249) are perfect for lechon paksiw and spaghetti the next day.
