McDonald’s Adds Chicken McDo Mega Meals Starting at ₱195

Tuesday, August 18, 2026

For Filipinos looking for a more filling fast-food meal, McDonald’s Philippines has added four new Chicken McDo Mega Meals, each starting at ₱195.

Available beginning August 14, the new combinations pair a piece of Chicken McDo with rice, a drink, dessert, and an additional protein option in three of the four variants. The meals are available all day, giving customers more choices when they want something more substantial than a standard Chicken McDo meal.

What comes with the new Chicken McDo Mega Meals?

The new lineup is built around the familiar 1-pc. Chicken McDo, but adds different combinations to make the meal more filling.

Here are the four options:

  1. Chicken McDo Mega Meal - 1-pc. Chicken McDo, rice, fries, drink and Plain Sundae
  2. Chicken McDo + Mushroom Pepper Steak - 1-pc. Chicken McDo, Mushroom Pepper Steak, rice, drink and Plain Sundae
  3. Chicken McDo + Crispy Chicken Fillet - 1-pc. Chicken McDo, Crispy Chicken Fillet, rice, drink and Plain Sundae
  4. Chicken McDo + Chicken Fillet Ala King - 1-pc. Chicken McDo, Chicken Fillet Ala King, rice, drink and Plain Sundae

All four start at ₱195, although actual prices and availability may vary by restaurant, ordering channel, and applicable promotions.

The lineup follows McDonald's recent move toward meal combinations that give customers more protein in a single order.

What if you don't want dessert?

Customers who would rather skip the Plain Sundae can still order the corresponding Chicken McDo combinations starting at ₱158.

For those looking for a simpler option, the classic 1-pc. Chicken McDo with rice and a regular drink starts at ₱99.

That gives customers several price points depending on how much food they want and whether dessert is part of the meal.

When and where can you order the Chicken McDo Mega Meals?

The new Chicken McDo Mega Meals are available beginning August 14 through several McDonald's Philippines ordering channels.

Customers can get them through Dine In, Take-out, Drive-thru, McDelivery, GrabFood, and foodpanda.

The regular Mega Meals are available all day. Versions featuring Spicy Chicken McDo are available during regular operating hours.

As with other McDonald's menu items, availability can vary by restaurant and ordering platform.

More Chicken McDo choices remain available

The new Mega Meals do not replace the existing Chicken McDo combinations.

Customers can still choose the standard 1-pc. Chicken McDo with rice and a regular drink, starting at ₱99. The expanded combinations without the Plain Sundae start at ₱158.

This gives diners a relatively simple way to choose based on appetite and budget, whether they want a basic chicken meal or a larger combination with additional protein and dessert.

A familiar meal gets a bigger menu

Chicken McDo has long been one of McDonald's Philippines' familiar local menu staples. The latest additions build on that familiarity rather than introducing an entirely new product.

The bigger change is in how the meal is packaged. By combining Chicken McDo with additional protein, sides, a drink and dessert, McDonald's is giving customers more ways to turn one of its core menu items into a fuller meal.

For consumers watching their food budget while still looking for a satisfying fast-food meal, having several combinations at different price points can also make ordering easier.

The new Chicken McDo Mega Meals give McDonald's Philippines customers four larger meal combinations starting at ₱195, with options that include additional protein, rice, a drink and Plain Sundae.

With dine-in, take-out, drive-thru and delivery options available, the new lineup gives Chicken McDo fans more ways to customize the size and style of their meal, whether they're grabbing a quick lunch, ordering dinner for themselves, or simply craving a more filling McDo meal.
