Even before the year 2014 ended, one of the things I wrote on my Belle de Jour Power Planner that I want to achieve in 2015 is to be money smart. It was a few days after new year when I saw picture posts of 52 Week Money Challenge on facebook and instagram.
Challenge accepted.
Those of you who also accepted the challenge, we are on the third week. P150 is still manageable, right? I work freelance and I'm starting to get nervous as the 6th week approaches. Although I am expecting some cash inflows this February, I also need to make sure that I control my outflows. And look for more earning opportunities aka raket!
We have this piggy bank at home for almost 7 years. We only feed her with P5 and P10 coins. The first time we filled her up, we were able to save P13,500. Not bad, huh? We still feed her until now of our spare 5s and 10s.
