Me and my family had the most wonderful dining experience yesterday at Parmigiano Pizzeria Ristorante in Newport Mall, Resorts World Manila. I joined the #MegaworldValentines instagram promo and won P5,000 worth of gift certificates from Parmigiano Pizzeria. I called up the restaurant on Sunday to make a reservation for lunchtime Monday.
Parmigiano Pizzeria is an Italian restaurant. Its name is derived from the famous cheese Parmigiano Reggiano or what we commonly refer to as Parmesan.
We arrived exactly 12 noon and really looking forward to a gastronomically satisfying meal. There's a menu special by the entrance but I have browsed the menu online and somehow have an idea of what I want to eat.
While my hubby, my dad and my sister were having a hard time deciding what to order, I excused myself to take pictures of the restaurant.
The restaurant has a cozy ambience. I love the choice of color and furniture. It's warm but not intimidating.
I assume the lights will create a more intimate and romantic feel come dinner time.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. It was Vanna who greeted us when we arrived and made sure we are well taken care of. She also made recommendations of the restaurant's bestsellers.

For antipasto, we ordered Frittura di Calamari. You must order this hefty serving of deep fried coated baby squids that comes with aioli dip and marinara sauce when you dine at Parmigiano. Delizioso!

My dad ordered Gamberi Gratinati. This is Parmigiano Reggiano gratinated tiger prawns served with aglio olio pasta and mixed green salad.

My sister who ordered Bisteca Alla Griglia con Gamberoni. This is grilled rib eye with au jus and grilled prawn with prawn sauce served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and house salad.

Hubby had Rib Eye Alla Griglia. This is the same as my sister's plate minus the prawns.

I was torn between Branzino Alla Griglia and Halibut al Forno. I decided to try the Halibut. The serving of risotto was so generous. I managed to eat half of it only mainly because I am too full already. But it was delicious.
Renzo was our very efficient server.

My youngest sister wasn't able to join us for lunch. We brought home Tre Salsiccia. This is a meat lover's treat. This pizza has Prosciutto Cotto, pepperoni, and sausage.

I also brought home for dinner Quattro Formaggi. Parmesan, Mozzarella, Gorgonzola and Pecorino = heaven!!!
