Artworks of more than 100 Filipino artists are now on exhibit at the 2F Bridgeway of Estancia Mall in Capitol Commons to bring arts and culture closer to the people.
The Ortigas Art Festival showcases the artists passion for the arts and their dedication to the process of bringing their statements to the attention of the broadest segment of the public. It was the idea of renowned social realist painter Renato Habulan to bring together various groups of artists from all over the country and give them a venue to exhibit their works. Ortigas and Company was very supportive in promoting grassroots participation in the art scene.
Featured artists include Darwin "Japat"Guevarra, Bern Wong, Richard Buxani, and Benjamin Torrado Cabrera. Also joining the festival are AgawXena, Agos Kulay Maynila, Banta Artist Initiative, Biskeg, Group Artists of Taytay, Hilaga Sculptors Collective, Himbon, The Guild, and Westgrove Fine Arts.
