Avon brings the message of early detection to students across the Philippines
Every October, the world turns pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month but this year, Avon Philippines is making sure the message reaches a younger audience. Through the Feel Yourself Pink Campus Tour, Avon is empowering Filipino students to take charge of their breast health early, breaking the myth that breast cancer awareness is only for older women.
Why breast health awareness matters now more than ever
Breast cancer remains the most common cancer among women worldwide, with 1 in 8 affected during their lifetime. What’s more alarming is that more women in their 20s and 30s are being diagnosed—proving that it’s never too early to start self-checks and learn the signs. The good news? When detected early, localized breast cancer has a 99% five-year survival rate.
For over 30 years, Avon has been leading the fight against breast cancer globally. Since 1992, the beauty brand has donated over $951 million, funded screenings for more than 20 million women, and educated 180 million people about breast health.
Avon’s Pink Campus Tour: Making awareness accessible
Avon’s Feel Yourself Pink Campus Tour takes its advocacy straight to where the next generation lives and learns—our universities. The initiative is designed to normalize conversations about breast health and equip students with lifelong habits that promote self-awareness and early detection.
The tour is part of Avon’s Pink movement, alongside the Avon Pink Bus mobile clinic with the Philippine Cancer Society (PCS). While the Campus Tour focuses on education, the Pink Bus brings free consultations and screenings to local communities, ensuring that awareness is matched with access to care.
Celebrity ambassadors Kyline Alcantara, Kaori Oinuma, Maymay Entrata, and Enchong Dee will join select stops to amplify the message and inspire young Filipinos to “feel yourself” through regular self-checks.

Voices of empowerment
Avon Ambassador Kyline Alcantara shared that she’s proud to be part of this movement.
“It’s never too early to take care of your breast health. I hope more young women feel comfortable talking about it and remind each other to ‘feel yourself’ through regular self-checks.”
Marion Limlengco, Head of Communications at Avon Philippines, added “For 139 years, Avon has been more than just a beauty brand. Our Breast Cancer Promise is about empowering everyone to act early because early detection saves lives.”
Avon’s efforts are supported by partners including ThinkPink.PH, GrabUnlimited, and Move It, forming a community that champions awareness, access, and safe spaces for women’s health. Bea Bravo, Deputy Country Marketing Head at Grab Philippines, echoed the importance of the cause, “Early detection should be a habit, not a privilege. Awareness saves lives, and routine protects them.”
Shop pink, save lives
Throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Avon will donate a portion of proceeds from select products to the Philippine Cancer Society, including curated beauty, fashion, and body care essentials. It’s a meaningful way for customers to support the cause—simply by shopping their favorite Avon items.
A legacy of care and action
Beyond this campaign, Avon continues its partnership with PCS through the Avon Pink Bus, providing breast health consultations and screenings to its representatives and communities nationwide. Together, these initiatives embody Avon’s mission to make early detection a normal part of every woman’s life.
As Avon reminds us, “Feel Yourself” isn’t just a slogan—it’s a call to prioritize your health and take the first step toward saving lives.
