The Philippines’ leading finance super app has teamed up with PasaJob and ActivAsia to launch GJobs HOTS (Hired On The Spot), a first-of-its-kind livestream hiring event that lets job seekers apply, get interviewed, and receive job offers — all in one day.
This innovative initiative is part of GCash’s ongoing mission to create Tech for Good, using digital tools to empower Filipinos with access to meaningful work opportunities.
A faster, more accessible way to get hired
Traditional hiring often takes weeks, but GJobs HOTS, powered by PasaJob, reimagines the process through the energy and immediacy of livestreaming.
During the live hiring sessions, hosts present available roles — from job titles and work locations to perks and benefits — just like a live selling session. Interested candidates can simply comment “Mine, Trabaho!” to signal their intent to apply.
Afterward, applicants are guided through the entire process: completing their GJobs profile, attending same-day interviews, and receiving updates — all within hours.
The debut livestream featured 88 job openings from ActivAsia, one of the country’s top integrated marketing agencies known for its dynamic brand activations and consumer engagement campaigns.
