This year’s theme, “Eyo in Wonderland,” brought pure enchantment to Pasig City. Imagine twinkling lights, giant gifts, and a whimsical Christmas tree centerpiece that felt straight out of a fairytale. Everywhere you looked, there were bursts of color and joy that is truly setting the perfect tone for the holidays.


And to make the night even more special, Pasig City Vice Mayor Dodot Jaworski graced the event, joining families, shoppers, and mallgoers in officially welcoming the season of giving. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and cheer as everyone counted down to the grand lighting of the Christmas tree, a glowing spectacle that instantly sparked smiles all around.

As I entered the atrium that afternoon, it was impossible not to be swept up in the festive glow. Every corner shimmered with red ribbons, golden glimmers, and the nostalgic red-and-green palette we all associate with Filipino Christmases. It wasn’t just a mall event, it felt like a joyful reunion with everything we love about the season.

A Wonderland in Rizal

The SM City Masinag Atrium was completely transformed into a dazzling holiday wonderland. The towering Christmas tree sparkled under the lights, surrounded by cheerful decor that perfectly balanced classic elegance with modern sparkle. VIPs from Rizal LGU, SM executives, and families from the community gathered together all smiling as the countdown to the tree lighting began.

“Almost four years ago, IKEA said its first ‘hello’ to the Philippines when we opened our first store in Pasay City.
