For over 100 years, Brother has continuously brought consumers innovative, reliable, and practical solutions for everyday life. These solutions are enjoyed today by millions of consumers all over the globe, who recognize the company’s commitment to excellent product quality that delivers satisfying experiences to its users.

This consumer-centric philosophy that Brother has upheld over decades is evident in the quality and reliability built into every product—from machines to consumables—it designs, develops, and distributes.

Brother Philippines, the local arm of the global imaging, printing, and home technology leader, has recently received an ISO 9001:2015 certification in line with the company’s worldwide movement toward constant improvement.

Awarded by the International Organization for Standardization, the ISO 9001 is a standard that guides businesses through a more efficient quality management system to address global challenges. The ISO 9001:2015 is the latest version of this standard which replaces the previous version, ISO 9001:2008.

The updated ISO 9001 standard makes it easier for Brother Philippines to use multiple management systems to ensure that all processes are aligned with its goal of improved customer experiences in every aspect of the business. Significant updates include a more effective way of addressing supply chain management and an intensified focus on risk-based thinking, which will help Brother Philippines take on the challenges of a fast-changing global environment.

“We, at Brother Philippines, want to ensure that we are constantly updated with global standards,” says Glenn Hocson, Brother Philippines President. “Not only do we prepare ourselves for future challenges through ISO 9001:2015, but we also get to strengthen our commitment to providing Filipinos with world-class products, services, and relationships with our brand.”
