I woke up early today for my #FreedomFriday. This is a day I have the freedom to do and eat whatever I want and I usually start my #MeTime at Starbucks SM City Masinag. Today, it coincides with the Philippine Independence Day. It has been 117 years since General Emilio Aguinaldo declared our independence in Kawit, Cavite.

I always try out Starbucks' feature beverages. I so loved last month's Dark Mocha Panna Cotta. One of my favorite beverages from Starbucks is the coffee jelly. I was ecstatic when I found out this month's featured beverages -- Caramel Triple Coffee Jelly Frappuccino® Blended Beverage and Strawberry Cheesecake Frappuccino® Blended Beverage. The Coffee Jelly at the bottom of this featured beverage is soft compared to the chewy coffee jelly of their regular frappuccino. But I like them both!

Now this is something interesting. People always misspell and mispronounce my name but Starbucks usually get it right!

And after watching this video "Why Starbucks Spells Your Name Wrong" I dunno if I wanted my name spelled correctly! :)

Starbucks Launches Frappuccinos With Panna Cotta

My Dark Mocha Panna Cotta Frappuccino perfectly blended by Eric at Starbucks SM Masinag.

Eric asked me if the Dark Mocha Panna Cotta Frappuccino is my new favorite Starbucks drink. I told him it's my first time to buy this drink. I either buy the Coffee Jelly or an Iced Tea with Strawberry Syrup. He assured me that this will become my new favorite BUT it will be available for a limited time only.

There are two new Starbucks Frappuccino varieties: the Summer Berry Panna Cotta Frappuccino and the Dark Mocha Panna Cotta Frappuccino. The Summer Berry Panna Cotta Frappuccino is an interesting mix of blueberries, stawberries and cranberries with a layer of panna cotta pudding at the bottom. The whipped cream is drizzled with a berry sauce. The Dark Mocha Panna Cotta Frappuccino is a blend of espresso coffee layered with panna cotta pudding and whipped cream sprinkled with dark mocha powder and with chocolate bits.
