Philippine Travel Mart 1st Green & Gold Tourism at Bonifacio High Street

Why go out of the country when there's so much to explore in the Philippines? It's about time we take travel on a different level. Bonifacio Global City, in partnership with the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) and the Department of Tourism is holding the first-ever outdoor travel fair to be held at the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater on May 4-6, 2018 from 10 am to 8 pm. 


The 1st Green & Gold Tourism focuses on showcasing eco-cultural tourism products, and highlights the involvement of community-based tourism activities to mainstream tourism.


Green Tourism


  • Nature Tourism. Activities related to nature such as bird watching, mangrove river ride, wildlife encounter, photography/videography tour, and reseach and study tour
  • Ecoadventure. Adventurous activities such as trekking, mountain climbing, scuba diving, white water rafting, canyoneering
  • Agro-Tourism. Garden tour, farm tour, visit to plantation and orchard, farm immersion like growing, harvesting, and processing of crops


Gold Tourism

  • Ethnic Tourism. These are activities for the purpose of observing and experiencing cultural expressions and lifestyles of indigenous communities, cultural immersion, tribe tour, living museum tour, artisan tour
  • Cultural Tourism. Interactive tours, vanishing lifestyle activities, festival tour, Philippine Kulinarya Series
  • Historical Tourism. This emphasizes the glory of the country's past. Activities such as "The Last Kilometer Walk of Dr. Jose Rizal", Western Visayas Landing Sites, CAMANA (Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas) Tour, countryside tour of Metro Manila, The Philippine Artisans, Death March, War Memorial Programs
  • Faith Tourism. Pilgrimage tour, Philippine Road to Islam, Halal Culinary, Holy Week Program
  • Health and Wellness. Philippine Detox Program, Healing Holidays, Traditional Wellness such as hilot, dagdagay, stone massage



Expect amazing travel and leisure deals from more than 50 partner airlines, travel agencies and tour operators, hotels and resorts and local government tourism units during the 3-day travel event. 

You will also witness performances from local groups, and take part in talks and exhibits that will remind us of our rich Filipino culture and traditions. The event is also sponsored by local airline Cebu Pacific.
