Jack Daniel's Holiday Barrel Tree in BGC

Sunday, December 2

Jack Daniel's iconic Holiday Barrel Tree has found its way at High Street Central Square in Bonifacio Global City and is now lighted to kick off the Yuletide tradition.

The Holiday Barrel Tree is made from Jack Daniel's very own oak barrels. One hundred twenty two barrels were repurposed into this special structure bearing one message that speaks to the brand's mantra: "It's not what's under the tree that matters, it's who's around it."

It was in 2014 when the Holiday Barrel Tree made its debut in the Philippines. There were two structures set up, one was erected at Fuerte Circle in Eastwood City and the other was at The Fort Plaza in BGC. They were also the first Holiday Barrel Trees in Southeast Asia.

I feel privileged to be invited to attend the lighting ceremony and the launch of Bar No. 7, Jack Daniel's fist pop-up bar in Metro Manila that serves gourmet holiday drinks created by Curator's senior bartender and mixologist Giann Divino.

Gather your family and friends this holiday season. Have your photos taken at the Holiday Barrel Tree and then spend quality time while enjoying the Jack Daniel's gourmet holiday drinks.

Gather merrily. Drink responsibly.

Okada Manila Unveils The Garden, Welcomes the Yuletide Season with Exciting Activities

Tuesday, November 20

Okada Manila has unveiled its latest attraction and I was invited at the press launch. The Garden is a lush open space that offers guests with the best seat for a breathtaking view of the Manila Bay sunset.

The Garden is a perfect outdoor venue for guests who wants to be in the city but doesn't feel like they are in the concrete jungle.

The sprawling spread of greenery within Okada Manila is ideal for family gatherings and the guests will definitely enjoy dining under the stars.

"The Garden is more than an outdoor space. It's an integral part of Okada Manila where guests can enjoy life's best moments under the sky with the people they treasure the most," said Ivaylo Ivanov, Okada Manila's Vice President for Hospitality.

Grand Christmas Tree Lighting

Okada Manila's 28-foot tall Grand Christmas Tree made up of 38,008 pieces of capiz shells from Cebu located at The Fountain Foyer was lit up and guests were serenaded by Chorus Vocales Philippines, Hazel Faith, and Monique Lualhati.

This coming December, award-winning Himig Rizalia will sing your favorite Christmas songs on all weekends of December until the 23rd.

Kids will get to enjoy activities such as storytelling time with Santa, Christmas caroling, and fun games. SM City Marikina Brings You Grand Christmas Carnival 2018

Wednesday, November 14

It feels like you are in a carnival as you enter SM City Marikina. The large ferris wheel, circus animals, Santa's elves and the colorful Christmas Carnival will greet you at the main entrance.

The kids arrived in their most charming costumes as they excitedly waited for the program to begin and for a chance to tell Santa Claus their Christmas wish.

SM Little Stars 2018 3rd runner-up Sylvannah Jamie Manuelaurice Garcia wowed the audience with her powerful voice.

Filipino-Canadian AC Bonifacio who was a 3rd placer at the Kids Edition of "Your Face Sounds Familiar" also performed at SM City Marikina's Grand Christmas Carnival 2018 unveiling.

The kids were the happiest when Santa Claus finally appeared with his big sack of gifts. Do you have a Christmas wish? Santa got a little techie this year. You can write him a letter and be one of the lucky 60 who will have their wishes granted. Just look for the Santa's Mail box and send your letter to Santa's inbox.

In the spirit of giving, SM Cares brings back the Share A Bear this Christmas. For only P200, you can already buy a pair of bears. You can keep one for you and the other one will be donated to an orphanage in Marikina.  The Bears of Joy 2018 is available from September 16 to December 25, 2018.

Bring the kids to SM City Marikina and have your family photos taken. The Grand Christmas Carnival 2018 display will be available until January 9, 2019.

SM City Taytay Most Magical Christmas Carnival 2018

Saturday, November 10

SM City Taytay launches the most magical Christmas carnival to officially welcome the holiday season last November 9, 2018. The well-attended event was held at the 2nd floor of building A but you can already feel the festive vibe as you enter the mall.

The activity center was transformed into a carnival and decorated in red, white, and gold.  The installations include circus animals and a miniature ferris wheel. There were stilts walker, clowns, mime artists, and mascots that brought smile to the kids.

SM City Taytay has also brought The Greatest Showman by entertaining the customers with performance from the acts of the American musical film.

A giant key was used to switch on the lights of the giant Christmas tree.

The biggest surprise for me was the fireworks display which makes the event truly a magical experience.

Santa flew all the way from the North Pole to make sure the kids receive their Christmas wish.

Celebrity host and singer Saab Magalona hosted the event and made sure she also has a photo with Santa.

Visit SM City Taytay and share your photos taken at the Christmas Carnival. For more information about upcoming activities, make sure you follow www.facebook.com/smtaytay on facebook.
