Art Sale and Charity Drive For Children With Congenital Heart Disease

10/22/16

Congenital heart disease (CHD) affects 5.5 million children all over the world. In the Philippines, an estimate of 17,000 babies born every year suffer from CHD and 20% of them need surgery. The Gift of Life International (GOLI) is a Rotarian-based organization that helps children receive medical treatment for CHD.

RCMW Past President Lou del Rosario
The Rotary Club of Makati West (RCMW) together with GOLI raise resources through their various charitable activities, one of which is the Alay Sining, an art exhibit and sale of the works of the country's leading and up-and-coming artists to benefit the treatment of indigent children with CHD.

Alay Sining President Paolo Delgado
Alay Sining 9: Art with a Heart exhibit will be held at The Gallery, Greenbelt 5, Makati City on November 11-13, 2016.
