When I saw the Maybelline Tattoo Brow Gel Tint on the Facebook page of Maybelline Philippines two days ago, I told myself I should get hold of this the soonest. This morning, I went to Watson's in SM Masinag to buy. 

I got the Maybelline Tattoo Brow Gel Tint in Dark Brown. The other two shades available are Light Brown and Medium Brown. The 5 ml bottle sells at PhP599.

The Promise: Perfect tattoo brows that stay up to 3 days without smudging and smearing.

This is how my bare brows look like. I exert as much effort as I can to fix them but most of the time I'm lazy and find it time consuming. I'm always ready to go with just foundation and lipstick.

This is how it looks like immediately after applying. Honestly, I felt a little scared. It's my first time to try this kind of product.

According to Maybelline's website, the Tattoo Brow Gel Tint has an error-proof brush for easy application of the gel on the brows and provides a painless application with no hair loss. 

Verdict: I always have a hard time fixing my left brow. With the brush provided, it made me feel like a pro. Not messy. 

I waited for 20 minutes to let the gel dry before peeling off. There's no difficulty in peeling off. No pain. No hair loss.

Am I satisfied with the result? YES.  My eyebrows look natural. Something I never achieved when using brow pencil or brow kit.

BUT I found out from the brand's website that the 20 minute wait will make my tattoo brow tint last for only one day. If I want it to last for maximum of 3 days, I'll have to wait for 2 hours before I peel it off. Hmm... I dunno if I have the patience to wait for 2 hours unless I'll be doing something else. 

Will I buy again? YES.

Pardon because I don't have a good selfie camera. This is my 2nd time to use the Maybelline Tattoo Brow Gel Tint and I let it stay for an hour before peeling off.  My eyebrows are well-defined also compared to how they looked like the first time I used the product.

I really can't remember when was the last time I got pampered like a queen. There has been so much going on in my life in the past twelve months I can't even find time to just pause and relax. Last week, I was invited to try the services of the newly-opened Serene Wellness Spa located at Hotel 878 Libis.

I have never let anyone touch my nails in my entire life. Rachel somehow convinced me to have a quick manicure. Serene Wellness Spa uses OPI and ORLY nail polish.

There's a couple massage room upstairs if you want to avail of the treatment with your partner. I prefer this instead of the treatment room located on the ground floor. The only setback is that you have to go down if you need to use the bathroom.

I did not pay for the treatment but with the quality of service I received, the Dead Sea Salt Body Scrub for P600 gives an excellent value for money and I wouldn't mind spending. I was looking for more body scrub options but since they are on soft opening, the services are still limited.

I've been seeing a lot of brands jumping into the micellar bandwagon. I got so curious that I bought this Simple Micellar Cleansing Wipes made by Unilever the last time I beauty shop at Watsons. It cost me P299 for a 25 pieces wipes. I wasn't even aware of the price because I just picked it up when I passed by the shelf on the way to the cashier. And I also don't know what micellar is all about!

What is micellar water?

My research (googling) told me that this water is made up of tiny cleansing oil molecules suspended in soft water. They are supposed to attract oil and dirt but is not drying to the skin. 

Oh, exciting!!! 

I am really very lazy when it comes to beauty regimen. The simpler, the better for me. Did I understand it right? I won't need to wash my face with soap and water after cleansing with micellar water? And I don't need to tone and moisturize? Cool!

Ironic. I just bought an expensive toner and moisturizer on that fateful day I bumped into this micellar cleansing wipes. To think that this is all I need! Or not?

Something bothered me on the definition. The word oil. I've got an oily skin so will this really work for me? 

                                                                                                                                                                   

I was wearing a Maybelline BB Super BB Cushion and Maybelline White Superfresh two-way cake for almost five hours and my face is kinda oily already.  I used the Simple Micellar Cleansing Wipes for the first time and my skin felt clean and fresh. No flaky residue that I usually get from washing with soap and water. Hmm... Let's see if I won't breakout these coming days.

My face looked shiny after using the Micellar Water Cleansing Wipes but it doesn't feel oily. I also noticed that my large pores became less visible. It somehow has a tightening effect. I was not blessed with a flawless skin and to make things worse, I am lazy with skin care. But my 2017 goal is to take care of my skin so hopefully there'll be some improvement and I hope it's not too late to start because I am already 40.

I've been a loyal Revlon lipstick user for years and my favorites are Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick, ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick and ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick. I've been eyeing the Revlon Matte Balm for so long and finally I own one.
